BEEFY POTATO SOUP

                          2 lb potatoes, unpeeled, chunked
                              6 beef bouillon cubes
                                   6c water
                              1 clove garlic, minced
                               1 tbs onion powder

                      Heat water to boiling and add cubes.
                       Stir well until dissolved. 
                   Add rest of ingredients and simmer 45 minutes.
